Dr. Lecturer İbrahim Güneş has been appointed to the General Turkish History Department within the History Department of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of Muş Alparslan University. Our instructor's short biography is below.
Dr. Lecturer İbrahim Güneş
I was born in 1985 in the Midyat district of Mardin. After completing my primary and secondary education in the same district, I started my higher education in the History Department of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of Muğla University in 2005. After graduating from the same faculty in 2009, I completed my Master's Degree without thesis in the History Teaching Department of the Secondary Education Field Teaching of the Social Sciences Institute of Fırat University between 2009-2010. In 2010, I started my Master's Degree with a Thesis in the History Department of the Social Sciences Institute of Mardin Artuklu University and graduated from the same institute in 2013 with my thesis titled "The Entry of the Diyar-ı Bekr Region to the Mongol Domination". Later, I received my Doctorate degree in 2021 with my thesis titled "History of the Ilkhanate State during the Abaka Khan Period" at the Social Sciences Institute of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University. I am married and have a child. Apart from history, I am interested in mountaineering and aviation. I teach the courses "Introduction to Turkish History II" and "Travelers and Travelogues" in the History Department of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of Muş Alparslan University.
