The teaching objectives of the History Program are as follows;
- To have knowledge about local history;
- To have knowledge about Turkish history;
- To have knowledge about European and World chronology;
- To be aware of the processes of change in societies, cultures and institutions over time;
- To be aware of different historical approaches in different time periods and texts;
- To be able to define and explain specific historical developments in a broad sense;
- To have the ability to understand basic historical information;
- To be able to determine and analyze the causes and consequences of historical events;
- To be able to plan and produce reliable reports about historical events;
- To be able to benefit from other social/human sciences (literature, art history, archaeology, law, sociology, philosophy, etc.)
