Associate Professor Celal Öney, a faculty member of the History Department of Muş Alparslan University, gave a seminar on how document searches and purchases are carried out in the Ottoman Digital Archive. Assoc. Prof. Celal Öney gave a seminar titled Searching for Documents in the Ottoman Archive on April 25, 2024 at 11:00 in the History Department of Muş Alparslan University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Classroom As 103. During the seminar, Öney introduced the Presidential Ottoman Archive website and introduced the publications and trainings that are especially useful for students on the site. Afterwards, he entered the Document Scanning module of the site, examined the area where archive documents were scanned, provided information on how the found documents were added to the researcher's page and how these documents were purchased. Öney answered the students' questions at the end of the seminar and emphasized that every history student should definitely examine and follow this website. After the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yegane Çağlayan, President of the History Research Society, presented Assoc. Prof. Dr. Celal Öney with a certificate of appreciation.
