On the 10th day of Ramadan, during the one-month seminar events organized under the name of Ramadan Talks within Muş Alparslan University, History Department Academic Member Assoc. The missionary Bodil Biorn, who worked at the German Orphanage located in the Kale neighborhood of Muş, focused on the efforts she made to expand the German orphanage and open a clinic and school in Muş during her stay in the Muş Sanjak. Öney, who emphasized that Bodil Biorn, who visited the surrounding villages during his duty in Muş, also collected orphans and brought them to the center of Muş, gave examples of conflicts between the Protestant missionaries in Muş and the local Armenian clergy. Öney reported that this study he conducted on Bodil Biorn was presented at the Muş International Symposium in the Context of History and Culture held at Muş Alparslan University in 2018 and that this study was subsequently published in the Symposium book. He stated that those who wish to read the entire study can access it here and ended his presentation with his best wishes.
