Department head Assoc. Prof. Dr. Celal Öney started the meeting by giving information about the agenda items of the meeting. He congratulated Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yegâne Çağlayan and Prof. Dr. İrşad Sami Yuca, who received new titles in the department, and wished them continued success. He also congratulated Dr. Lecturer İbrahim Güneş, who was newly appointed to the department, on his new position and offered his best wishes. He provided information about the academic functioning of the department and gave information about the issues that need to be focused on in this regard. Öney then focused on the dean's demands in the relations between the department and the dean's office and conveyed the dean's demands to the department staff. Öney, who particularly emphasized the importance of the seminar program as proof that the department is active, announced that a list would be prepared on this issue and that they would determine who the department staff who wanted to give a seminar were and what information they would provide about the seminar. Assistant Dean Dr. Lecturer Esra Çıplak took the floor and provided information about the dean's sensitivity to quality, emphasizing that all events and scientific activities to be carried out by the department should definitely be recorded by showing evidence and used in the preparation of the department's in-house report in the future. Assistant Department Head Dr. Lecturer Kenan Demirel took the floor and stated that the course schedule should be followed in the department. Assistant Department Head Dr. Lecturer Muammer Özdemir also took the floor and provided information about the list of duties undertaken by the department staff and that this list should be updated. Afterwards, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Celal Öney touched on the importance of student absenteeism and the importance of guidance on how to approach students' problems. The meeting ended after Öney presented his wishes and desires for the department's corporate identity to be taken one step further.
