The Faculty of Arts and Sciences Futsal Tournament, organized in cooperation with Muş Alparslan University MAUN Youth Office and the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, was completed with the final match and award ceremony. The tournament, organized among the departments within the Faculty in order to strengthen sporting solidarity, student interaction, and team spirit, attracted great interest from students and witnessed exciting competitions.
The final match of the tournament was played between the Department of History and the Department of Kurdish Language and Literature. In the match, which witnessed a great struggle, our Department of History team defeated its opponent and lifted the cup as the champion of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Futsal Tournament. The determination, sportsmanship, and team spirit displayed by our students on the field became a great source of satisfaction and pride for our department.
Muş Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Yusuf Kılıç and Muş Alparslan University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican also watched the final match and shared the excitement of the students. The program, held with the participation of the protocol, once again demonstrated the importance attached at our university to social, cultural, and sporting activities as well as academic activities.
As the Department of History, we would like to thank MAUN Youth Office, the administration of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, all units that contributed to the organization, and all students who competed in the matches in a spirit of sportsmanship. We congratulate our students who successfully represented our department and experienced the joy of championship, and we wish them continued success.
