-5th International Turkology Research Symposium (UTAS V) will be held at Muş Alparslan University on 15-17 May 2025. Symposium sessions will be face-to-face for all domestic participants. Online sessions will be organized only for foreign participants. Foreign participants can present their papers face-to-face if they wish.
-Each participant can only present two papers.
-Papers can be presented in Turkish, Turkish dialects and English.
-Papers to be sent to the symposium must be related to the field of Turkology and must be original work that has not been published anywhere before.
-Paper abstracts to be sent to the symposium must be sent via the “Send Paper” tab on utas.yyu.edu.tr. Paper abstracts must be between 150-200 words. Abstracts must be written in Turkish and English, and there must be 5 keywords in Turkish and English under the abstract texts.
-Participants should include their institution and contact addresses in their abstracts.
-Full texts of papers should be at least 2000 and at most 6000 words and should be prepared according to APA 7 writing rules.
-Times New Roman font (11 points) should be used in writing the texts.
-When sending full texts, a similarity report from Turnitin or another Plagiarism Program should be sent as an attachment. (Maximum similarity rate should not exceed 20%)
-Abstracts and full texts will be subject to referee evaluation. Acceptance letters will be sent to participants for accepted abstracts.
